  1. Is it possible to see a driving solid face shaded with “Show…”? I can only see them in wireframe. I am having difficulty seeing whether I have selected faces that have neighboring faces already selected. If I use show it is impossible to tell whether the face is selected because only the wire frame is displayed.

If I use solid drive faces in an operation and Only Display Associated Geometry is selected the entire solid is displayed. I would think it would display only the solid face that is selected not the whole solid.

Am I missing something or is this just the way it works.

    Thanks

  2. Installed MR2 overwriting MR1. When starting now the X logo comes up and says Checking HASP... Then hangs, Cimco opens and has a text file named TermsOFUse.txt. I am sure that I agreed to the terms of use during install. Tried a repair rebooted no go.

Ran the update hasp setup, drivers are HASP HL Drive Version 5.20

Open HaspX.exe all the licensed modules are correct and hasp is found.

Forgot to add that V9 still runs.

    Thanks for any ideas

  3. Most of the time I rigid tap but for high quantity runs I use Tapmatic heads. It takes some trial and error to get it set up, but after that it flies.

I run 0-80 roll tap in aluminum 0.190 deep 4100 RPM Tapmatic NCR15. The NCR is good up to 6000rpm but I have always been chicken to run it that fast.

I dont know if the tapping head would help you breakage problem, but it would shorten your cycle time.

  4. This is how I read what you typed.

    ABS REL

    X1.1234 X6.7890

    you want

    ABS REL

    X1.1234 X1.1234

The following works on a 16i.

POS - REL - OPTR - type axis leter(XYZB) - type axis(XYZB) value to match absolute - PRESET

I might have the sequence out of order but it is late and I not at the control. If it dosnt work I will go step by step on the control tomorrow.
