Does anybody have a Kitako V-1515W_V 5-axis machine with Fanuc 15-M control? I don't understand how M11 (tool -ATC Router Start) works with T? M06. Do you have any example of a program with M11 and T? M06 in it? I thought M11 was only used as M03? Are manual doesn't explain this very good. Thank you, Vinny

Is there a place in mastercam X4 where you can edit your toolpath. Like delete a couple of line from the toolpath or nci file.

I am getting the same error on my XP-64 bit computer. This application has failed to start because ntvdm.exe was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem. But it does not fix problem. Any ideals? Thanks, Vinny

Hi guys, I found a way to install X4. Right click on "mastercamx4-web.exe" and in the dialogue that pops up uncheck run this program with restricted access. This worked for me.

I am running a 64 bit computer. Installed X3 on it with no problem. I just download X4 and can't get it to install properly. I am geting (1628: Fail to complete installation) message. Any idea of what is go wrong.

I always wanted to edit tools in library, not just add tools to library. Never knew how or even if you could. Playing around with X3 I found left click on parameters and going to tool nane right click then go to tool manger; you can edit your tool list. This is something I wanted to see for a long time; create new tool, edit tool and delete tool. Thanks

I am having trouble saving geometry from Ver X3 back to Ver 9. I know I can't save toolpath but was able to save geom in X2 to MC9. Is this a bug or do I have some type of setting wrong?

I think they should of change the extension on X3 to something else other than .MCX like .MC3 or .MX3. If you have X2 and X3 on the same computer; it makes it difficult because it associate X2 with X3 went you want X2 to come on.

I though that was my answer, to change the Control Definition maximun number of characters. But it doesn't do a thing. Maybe if the post could count the length of a string?

On my Haas machine I will get an alarm if my comments are to long. I notice in manual entry it has 750 characters maximun. Is there a way to change this to a smaller nuber? Or is there an easier way to truncate the number of characters in a comment?

I belive it would be alot nicer if we could go into the tool library some way and delete or modify a tools, feed and speed or size want ever. I'am putting this on my wish list for X3.
