  1. Ok - but it would still be a viable solution for off-line programming - you can program in Mastercam upto 5-axis milling and also for mill/turn and output to Mazatrol.
  2. Take a look at Mastercam to Mazatrol Post Processor by Camaix - www.camaix.com
  3. I remember when these guys were MC Tool back in 1997 - they've come a long way -
  4. I am placing this help wanted on behalf of our customer -it's also posted on the CNC Software web site. Full-time or part-time with benefits. Pay commensurate with experience. Visit our website at http://www.exothermic.com. Email resumes to [email protected]. 5. thanks for the offer bu the demo is done and they seemed pretty satisfied. At this point they are looking for a reference - an MC user using this kind of setup
  6. Hi Crazy, Thanks for the response. I am well aware of the status of MC vs others on MMT. This is a single turret machine and the customers are doing very straightforward parts and I feel that MC is more than capable enough for them. There is no Synching no wait codes no pinch turning etc.
  7. Hi All, I have a prospective customer who has this machine and is looking for a reference site using this machine w/ MC. It would be ideal if you had the same machine , but something similar would do also.i.e Main Spindle,Sub-Spindle, C-axis on both spindles , Y axis and live -tooling (and bar feeder). Thanks in Advance
  8. Thanks everybody for your input - has anybody worked with the latest versions of EZ-Mill - and are there any specific features that really highlight the differences ?
  9. Hi All, I see a lot of Ez-Cam product in my area - I'm looking for some good competitive info - specifically in 3d machining capability - thanks in advance
  10. Download this setup sheet from the IHS page above http://www.emastercam.com/tools/html/ this should give you want you want
  11. If on the PC side I would make the file read only under your windows security settings - making sure that only you and the administrator have editable rights As far as the setup sheet goes - would not know offhand - but I would suggest trying the standard setup sheet as well as IHS and X+ which may give better results.
  12. To force a variable to output in the post you need to place an asterisk '*' in front of variable for example in the post the line which outputs G1 moves is under the postblock plinout as below plinout #Output to NC of linear movement - feed punclamp pcan1, pbld, n$, `sgcode, sgplane, sgabsinc, `sgfeed, pccdia, xout, yout, zout, p_out, s_out, `feed, strcantext, scoolant, e$ if nc_lout$ <> m_one & feed = zero, psfeederror pclamp change xout to *xout, yout to *yout, zout to *zout, p_out ( primary axis output = rotary in this case) to *p_out and s_out (secondary axis = trunnion ) to *s_out - you will need to look in other parts of the post where these variabes are output and change them accordingly
  13. Are you looking to lock them on the pc side or at the control?
  14. As I had said it is not yet available - I spoke to Camaix directly and it will be made available when readt - I cannot give a release date
  15. Yes Camaix needs to release machsim that supports X3
