  2. Carl: Never mind I found the FTP site... I must have been not to see it before.. This Forum is great... You can always get a answer to your question. Thanks All Gary
  3. Hay Carl Thanks for responding. I guess I'm dumber than than the average bear but what FPT site. I down loaded Fadalsub post about a year ago, I think. And I don't remember where it came from.. Where can I find Fadalsubroutine.zip Thanks Gary
  4. Hi all. I have had the post fadalsub.pst several times and have deleted it after I could not get it to work. It is supposed to write fadal programs with subroutines and all you have to do is renumber the subroutines at the head of the .nc program. I sent it to my area Mastercam dealer and he fixed one problem where it was looking the external tool file and sent it back. Below is a portion what he said... Gary, I got the post you sent but there is a missing file. The missing file name is fadalsub.psb It is a binary file that contains the meat of the post. I got the error messages out of it and when I went to use it after I cleared them up it would crash Version 9 so I renamed the PV7 & TV7 back to PST & TXT and ran it in Version 8 and that is when I found it has missing a file. Does anyone have Fadalsub.pst that has the file fadalsub.psb with it? Thanks Gary
  5. Hi Everyone... I am useing V9 Mill and I post for FADAL. When I goto Main Menu, Tool Paths, Job Setup. And in Tool Offset Regester - Add and set Height to 0 and Diameter to 0 so the tool, height, and diameter will all have the same number. When I start the next job I have to do it al over again. Who can I save those settings.. I hope you understand what I'm talking about... Thanks Gary
  6. I am useing Mastercam V9. To edit a program I am use to useing Cimco CNC Edit (Lite) that came with V7. Is it possible to set Mastercam V9 to open Cimco Edit when I post a program and pick Edit Program. Also is there a newer version packaged with V9? Thanks Gary
  7. I am using V9. When I am programing I go to Contour and start pick some intities I use to see a green arrow at the start of the intities and a red arrow at the end of the intities or at a branch. Now when I pick intities the arrows blink on to the screen for about a millisecond and disappear. How can I fix this so the arrows stay on the screen. Thanks Gary

  9. How do I add a offset shift or rotate to a program in Mastercam for a FADAL? Must I just edit the program after it is posted? We almost never get a drawing that does not have to be changed or I have to take part of one program and cut & past it in to another program .. Also is there a way to add logic to a porgram while in Mastercam like IF/THEN, GOTO, and ect.? Example N100 G0 X0 Y0 E1 N101 G52 X0.5 Y.2 (SHIFT) N103 g0 X0 Y0 OR N100 G0 X0 Y0 E1 N101 G98 X0.5 Y.2 R0+ 25.5 (ROTATE) N103 g0 X0 Y0 [email protected]
