    If it is a 3-axis machine, I'd try using m-surf surface finish contour. If it a 5-axis application, the new Swarf 5Ax toolpath works very well. You can drive the tool using the surfaces, or rails (edge curves). Steep m-surf might not give you the desired results, as the tool would cut the short way on the surfaces. ------------------ Doug Nemeth CNC Software, Inc. Sales
