  1. i recently looked over the shoulder of a programmer using something other than MC. in one of his diologue boxs a chipload amount was automaticaly generated ones the speed and feed was entered. good idea i thought. does MC have this somewhere that i am missing????

  2. i wont to cahnge the WCS from G54 to G58 for this one job. There must be an easy way to do this. i have been doing it in the code but there must be a box i am missing parameters page or something.

  3. same here on our robo drill with a Fanuc control. i will also be interested to hear anyone elses ideas. specialy programing this move straight form MC. i get around it by cutting on the way back.

  4. in regard to this. what direction do you look at the 4th axis to decide if it is turning clockwise or counter clockwise??

     

    I to had this problem and tried to change the direction on the rotary axis page in MC. as far as i can see this button did nothing at all,

     

    but yeah the place to change it is in the post.

  5. ok got it sorted. YAAAAAA for Jimmy my MC guy in Phoenix. aparently there is a bad but very similar post still deep back there somewhere, the Methods guy aparently loaded the little bit bad post which worked up till i used rotary axis.
