Glad to see The change nc name and program # drop down is working. Nice to use solidworks 09 models as well. When adding or moveing toolpaths in exsisting tool groups, nci's are being changed to default path. I keep nc's and nci's in same job file. I still have repost and "ask" for nci file path when I make changes. Is there a global like change nc file name. Was up?

Yes this station has mill level 2. Seems to be an nci issue. Will wait just like everyone else, for updates. C'mon mastercam. Thanks. -
The edit operatins drop down in toolpath manager will not let me change program # or name. Change tool # and everything else works but when I click on change program name or # , NOTHING. When I add new toolpaths to existing file, nc and nci go back to default then I have to repost all programs to make sure all nc and nci file names/locations are all the same or toolpaths get broken up. Should be able to highlight tool group, check all, edit ops, change nc file name. Nope. Is there a way to make sure new toolpaths added to an existing file will have same nc/nci file name and location?

Finaly figured out how to program with b axis rotation. Thanks MC forum. Don't think I could have done it with out you. NC post looks great but I need two tweaks. I know enough to be dangerous but I thought I would ask the pros. Program reads: N170 G91 G28 Z0 N180 G90 G55 N190 B180 I need a G0 with the B rotation and the B has to be B0.0 B45.0 B180.0 and so forth. I'm running X3 with the new MPMASTER.PST off this sight on a Mori Seiki NH6300. Also wondering if pallet change is programmable? Thanks.

Setting up a brand new mori. Apps guy coming on monday and I have yet to set up a new machine/control definition.I'm running X3 and other than basic 2d drawing I pretty much tool path off 3d models. 2d,nothing fancy but I would like to utilize 4th axis table to cut multiple sides. This is my first (NEW) machine and I have limited post editing experience. Any thoughts or suggestions would be great. Peace.

We have to convert SW 2009 files to parasolids xt to open projects in x2 and x3. Hope that update comes out soon.

Patiently waiting. My other work station is still on X2. Design has to convert solid works 09 files to parasolids xt to run on x2. I have not tried it on x3 yet as i'm still using inventor files and parts I have already programmed. Last resort? Draw it. Peace out.

Mastercam patch for solidworks 09 is not available at this time.

No dice. Everything was fine with x2 mr2 with whatever version of solidworks they were running. I would assume it was 08.

Design recenetly upgraded to solidworks 09. When I try to download model into mastercam I get a cannot find parasolids pop up. I upgraded to x3 and downloaded the solidworks patch but to no avail. Help!
