  1. The Makino Pro 6 control has so many nice feature to it. You might want to list all the special options you have with this control all the special M codes and see what it would cost to has a custom post built. It may be worth the money.
  2. I have a large part to put on a Okuma LC-30 horizontal Lathe. It would be done in two ops. 1st op would be face then turning a diameter back 1.00" . 2nd op. would be turning a sphere. The problem is the part is 18" diameter x 12" long and weights 880 lbs. Do any of you lathe guys know if the chuck would hold this?
  3. I am trying to get this to work on our Haas machine but it still doesn't change my tool out put line. Can someone advise me on this?
  4. I do use solid but I want to use active reporting and show the tools and the holders like I do in mill.
  5. Does any one create set-up sheet for VTL out of Mastercam using the active reporting? If so can you share some ideas? What I am thinking since I have been creating them for the milling side is picture of part on chuck with chuck jaws , fixture, set up block ect. Them I would like to have the tools and the tool holder block. Just looking to see what I can do with this for the Lathes.
  6. 1. Under the tool tab of the operation manager add to the right click to change assign tool number sequentially. 2. Add a feed rate button to slow the feed rate down on entry move for thread milling.
  7. Is there an easy way to run multipal part in one stock position? We have these washer to make that are .276 long. We would like to face, rough turn, finish turn, bore and cutoff the fisrt part and then repeat that process for four more parts. Thank in advace Todd Mann
  8. Question 1 I am kinda new to Mastercam lathe. Is there a way when you are cutting of a part to have a feed rate of lets say .005 and feed dow to lets say X.075 then slow down to a feed of .001 for the remaning amount? Question 2 how are you lathe guys programing a stop to pull you stock out agianst? Question 3 Is anyone using active reoprting Set-up sheet and if so how do you write things in the inforamtion block on the first page?
  9. Does anyone have any good custom setting for a Fanuc Robocut wire machine to cut Renea 80? This material has a lot nickel in it.
  10. Do you have a 9001 program in your machine?
  11. We have a 60M with a 12 tool magazine. No pallet changer. It also has a 15T fanuc control. Does it use a 9000 macro program to change tools or does the T# take care of that? Is there a parameter page the tells the machine what pot is what?
  12. Anyone have a Omega 6 VTL? We lost all of our parameters. Finally got them back and now we need to find the tool change macro program or how to set-up the machine to know where tool 1, 2, 3 and so on is in the machine. Can anyone help? Thanks Todd
