We have a system that might work well for you by using a log starting with program #0001 and as an attachment, we apply part# and OP# to the description. This way here you can manage program names without having duplicate program numbers.

Hey guys, I could use some info on using a PCMCIA card to drip feed a program thru the system. I am running a Nigata HN80C with a 16I-M control. I am able to get the program running but I am unable to reset or restart the program once I start to run. For fear of crashing I stopped mid-stream in the program and I am in need to find out desperately to restart. I had to go into the manual mode just to stop the spindle and send the machine home. I couldn't go back to the main drive to test run the program because it is still in the remote mode. Any and all information would be greatly appreciated.
