Jeremy There was a recent SafeNet (optional) update that can cause this problem. Problem: When launching Mastercam, the user is prompted with No SIM found. Reason for the error: SafeNet’s latest device drivers (version 6.55) prevent the sim from being properly recognized by Window’s Device Manager. The device status is: This device cannot start. (Code 10). Cause: When running Windows Update, SafeNet Inc. is listed as an Optional Hardware update. This update will install version 6.55 of the SafeNet USB Key device drivers. When plugging the sim into a computer for the first time or reconnecting it to a machine, Windows Device Driver search looks for the proper drivers for the device. This process checks online for the latest compatible device driver, which will install version 6.55. Solution: SafeNet is aware of the problem and are working to fix their device drivers. We are very close to having a workaround to the problem so customers can be back up and running in the meantime. This information is going out to resellers along with any workaround we can find (we're working on it) to get things up and running in the meantime. At the top of the Mastercam Simulation window, there are three tabs - File, Home, and Verify. When you start Verify, you 'land' in the Home tab. If you click on the Verify tab, then click on Compare, there will be a pane on the right where you can set the different color ranges.

Have you sent a sample file to QC yet? I've tried a few things quickly creating a simple pocket toolpath, copying it, changing to remachining and clicking through the tree. When I went to regenerate the operation, it appeared to lock up but then continued (it just took a bit to crunch the data). Is there anything else about it that you've noticed? We have seen (during testing) issues with changing from one toolpath type to another but they are generally cleared up with the released version. As an example, let's work with a basic cube made of surfaces set in an Isometric GView. I want to fillet along the top edge of both the front and right sides of this cube along with the top surface (that gives me 3 surfaces to work with). I'll pick the front surface and right surface and hit the Green circle or Enter - that is "set 1". Then I'll pick the top surface and Enter - "set 2". Then I set my parameters and I get my fillets. Basically, you'd want to pick 'sets' of surfaces that make sense - in this instance, it makes sense to 'group' the sides as one set and the top as the other. --Deb
