  1. Is it possible to change a feedrate for a specific entity in a Chain that belongs to a ContourOperation? Dave E.
  2. Is X6 supported on Win8 Pro? If it's not, is anyone having success running it there? Thanks. Dave E.
  3. Thanks Roger, I uninstalled and re-installed chookwizard (as Administrator) with no luck. I manually put the files, and things are fine now. Thanks again. Dave
  4. Roger, Yes, I did that. It didn't work. I'm running Mastercam X6 MU1 64-bit on Windows 7 Ultimate. Dave
  5. Hello, Can anyone provide documentation for setting up the chook wizard so that it can be used in VS2010 Pro? Thanks. Dave
  6. How can one create a new view in a C# NETHook? I've tried... Mastercam.Database.MCView v = new Mastercam.Database.MCView(); v.ViewMatrix.Row1 = new Point3D(x, y, z); ...and it appears that the ViewMatrix vars are read-only. Thanks! Dave E.
  7. Is there any way to select geometry using a polygon in a C# NETHook? I'm looking for something analogous to SelectionManager.BoxSelectGeometry(). Thanks! Dave
  8. 5m 11.352s Dell Precision M6400 laptop Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 @ 2.26GHz Windows Vista Ultimate 4 GB RAM
  9. Nesting doesn't seem to work for me in X3. When I click Xform, Geometry Nesting..., nothing happens. I searched the forum and found a couple users with the same problem I'm having, but no solution. Any ideas? Thanks! Dave
  10. I write a lot of programs for Thermwood 5-axis machines. Advanced Multiaxis Swarf comes in handy quite often. Since Thermwoods typically have a C-axis range of 0-360, it would be nice to set a start Angle for the toolpath so C=0 at the start. (Start Points don't work all the time.) DE
  11. Can anyone tell me if it's possible to write a chook using MS VC++ 9.0 Express Edition? If so, how does it differ (briefly) from using the regular edition of VC++? Thanks. Dave E.
  12. I'm wondering if it's possible to write a chook using MS VC++ 9.0 Express Edition. Has anyone done this? Thanks again. Dave E.
  13. I have to use a tapered end mill in a Swarf 5AX toolpath. Will Mastercam compensate for the end mill's taper? If not, can someone recommend a different approach? Thanks. Dave E.
