Got a job coming up that needs broaching (.06" wide .5" deep). Does this machine have the capability to orient the spindle in different locations? I have 4 spots that need to be broached and the spindle will need to be indexed between them.
TIA
Have a demo copy setup for operators to look at parts and code. All of a sudden cimco editor won't work anymore but MC still does. Cimco says " mastercam hasp not found" Is there a time limit for cimco edit for the MC Demo? Is there a good free alternative that can compare files side by side, and have colors like cimco?
Any Mazak users out there that could help me?? Using (2) Mazak PFH-4800 machines made in around 1999 I think, they have Windows 95 on them lol with Palletec system. Never used Mazak machines before, I need to set up or schedule programs and pallets for production. Does anyone have documentation on how to do this? I have the programs in the machine, I just don't know what all the options mean on the screen.
TIA

Doosan DMN 500 VMC I have a tool that looks like it going to be very close to hitting a fixture during the toolchange. Has anyone stepped through or jogged a toolchange in a Doosan mill before? I can do it on our Kitamura 630 HMC easy. Just wondering if it was possible.
TIA
Well you have to admit it is kind of suspicious when someones first post is links to download the new version of mastercam that quote: (isn't officially released yet), there are going to be some things in question.
Soooo...Omoe works at CNC Software/In-House? Lucky and found the links on the web by accicent? Hacker?....
