Hello Friends, I was handed an announcement for the Moldmaking Expo 2006, April 25-26 in Novi Michigan. My boss wants to know whether it might be worthwhile to attend. Any of you folks been to it before and have an opinion, I would like to hear it. We are a small mold and die shop that makes tools for our own use, mainly injected plastic patterns for investment casting. We are fairly new at this and are always looking for info and contacts. Hi CMR, I have not been able to get any cutting time to display after running the backplot.I deselected the option to associate to library and manually entered a feedrate and thought this might work. Nope. Mr. McGarr, Thanks for your suggestion, is works well on simple wirepaths. I tried it on a true spiral no-core and trying to analyze the chain length was beyond my skill level. -Hi Friends, We have a new FANUC WEDM with a 180is-WB control. The NC files that we post from Ver9.0 have some differences from what we learned during the machine training. Taper instructions are off, some NC files will not graph on the machine. Does anyone have a "Tweaked" post processor file for this control that they would share. Thanks Ray Brigham Comfort TX

When we try to "Drip feed" our MCAM files that are larger than the 1MB memory in a Haas Mini Mill, the program will stop before completion. It never seems to stop the same place in the code feed. I would appreciate help from anyone with ideas on how to remedy this problem. Thanks Ray
