What kind of problems could we run into dealing with the chips from machining magnesium. We are looking at a long run job that could generate 500 to a 1000 lbs every 2 weeks.
I have 2 parts that share the same op2 toolpath and geometry. I can't seem to get the import export to do what I want. If I bring in the operations the geometry doesn't export to the new file. When I say save geo with the operation I get errors. Pretty sure it's something I'm not doing right.
Anyone have experience with AL6XN. The part is mostly turning with some milled features. Does this material move around? 3" OD 2" ID blind hole 2.25 deep 3" OAL and
5" OD 2.87" ID 3.25 deep blind hole 4. OAL
We've decided to use multiple work offsets but would like to only post one subroutine for each operation. There are several profile ops besides the drilling. Can this be done in absolute?
I'm translating a simple drilled hole 3 times. I want the main program to call location and 1 subroutine to drill the hole. When I post it I get the main with 3 subroutine P1 thru P3 and the subs O1 thru O3 . I just need it to post one sub for all 3. Is this something in the post or the machine/control def?
We are trying to use the M516 A__ v__ for variable spindle speed Fanuc I series. Does anyone have the proper way to call this up?
we think this is how to call it. But it doesn't seem to work.
