  1. What you might want to try is "stop hacking" just can't resist Side Show. How's it all going with the new digs? Jeremiah
  2. Rob- Alot of times what we have to do on our MH600's is bore one side, rotate 180 , sweep the first bore and shift accordingly to maintain concentricity. (for tolerances less than .0005) Perhaps use a long rod thru rough bore to the finish bore from previous index. Another idea is to come from a common ref point so you are always positioning X and Y in the same direction.
  3. Thanks a million. The stock lathe.set file only had ptlchg. When I added the mtlchg and ltlchg, along with some other edits it worked great. Thanks for the hints. This forum is too awesome. Jeremiah
  4. Hello Forum. I am a mill 9 level 3 user and am starting to implement MasterCam in our lathe dept. I have modified lathe.set to output "tool type" using the 20000 nci parameters. I am using 20100 for the lathe tool types and 20004 for mill tool types, for mill/turn applications. It works great untill there is a mill tool after a lathe tool, then it is using parameters from the previous lathe tool in combination with the mill tool. I have a conditional statement then post line call to the specfic tool type, but it still seems to combine the 20100 variables with the 20004. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Jeremiah
