I have been working with Mastercam, and I can say that one of the best software I have seen for 3D machining is Worknc. it's powerfull , easy and fast.it has lots of automatic strategies, for planar surfaces and others. in therms of graphical display, I have enjoy a lot Machining Strategist. both are very good for molds. with Mastercam it takes a bit more to program some geometries but we also have 2D machining in the same package. hope V9 be better.

What about how to perform undercuts with a 3axis vmc?

is there any way to do same functions of Optipath's Vericut(changing feedrates), in V8, without buying the first one.

if I could spend up to $600 which video card would perform better? ------------------
