  1. Hi James and Pip, Glad to known I am on the right track here, seems to me that the Misc. function gives you alot of different options to costumize your needs. Last night I edit the post so in Misc.1 so you can change your workoffsets, like 4=G54 5=G55 and so on. I believe the machine is a MYCenter too, pallet change is M71/M72. I am personly jumping between running EDM/WEDM and a Hass MiniMill, but the guy who is running the Kitamura came with these different issues, that to me sounded fixable. It is my idea to copy some of these changes to our other posts, Haas's and Fanuc Robodrills. 2. Hi guy's I have been sitting most of the night trying to modefid a post for our Kitamura and came to the pallet changer. My idea (being new to milling) was to set it up using Misc. function to activate it from Mastercam to the post. Is this the right way?, or do you guys have a better idea?. I never got it to work, not sure how to make the comando lines in the post, so it output a M71 plus safty moves. P.S. Just spendt 30 min. going back throw old postings trying to make sure this topic wasent up this last month. Thanks Lars Spelling in english spelling in danish
  3. Hi Prosoft, Does the S390 have Charmilles new Millinium control? if so then it is not a big problem converting the fanuc post coming with Mastercam. You more or less have to change the power-packs to "S" values, I did this for a 440 Robofil. Let me know if I can be to any help Lars
  4. Hi Master's I am facing two problems. 1) I have Kitamura NC file that I would like to get back into Mastercam 8.1, when I am trying to reverse it, the computer is looking for a "rp.exe" If I understand it right, I need a speciel post, my reseller do not support Mcam8 anymore for free, and because of these hard time, my company have not been able to update. Am I right about the speciel post, and is there someone who can help me? 2) I am running a Haas Minimill, and would like to use the Highspeed option(again Mcam8.1) Is there any who have had experince and data for Max. and Min. rpms and other usefull data? I have some experince in Mcam 8.1 wire, but this milling is new to me, and I know I am about 10 levels below you guys. Thanks Lars Sorry about spelling, I am one of these forign people.
  5. Thanks for the answer, that makes sence. This computer is being used by 3 other guys, who always have 3 or 4 different windows open , so they just are maximazing and minimazing each others window. Thanks again Lars
  6. I am sorry I dident make it more clear in my first message. It is not .Mc8 files in the common/temp folder, it contains folders with som 5 digits numbers that contains some no sense last names. There is a temp folder in Mcam man folder, but isent sure why there also should be one in Mcam/commen/, I just wanted to find out if these could be bad to delete. Thanks Lars
