  1. Tried a few different mice with different drivers to no avail. Anything else that could be the problem?
  2. Thoob. How do i find the service the mouse is using? Wat was ur's called...mine's might be the same. Matt. Not sure wat u mean about cores and threads. How do i turn off Hyperthreading?
  3. But thats the problem....when i disable the mouse driver the mouse stops working!!
  4. Ok. Stupid question here...... How do u disable the mouse driver without the mouse stopping working?? I've got similar problems with 8800GT & 8600GT cards on 3 different Machines with exactly the same problems. Srambled Screen when doing Dynamic Rotation and Backplot which is just unwatchable 'Ghosting and flickering'. Tried different drivers (now running with latest one's 169.21), all the above settings 'front buffer, Tripple Buffer etc. Still no change. Running X2 MR2 SP1 XP Pro SP2 2Gig of Ram E6600
  5. Thanx Crazy. Worked a treat.
  6. We just purchased a second 5 axis m/c with 'ITNC530' control which is similar to our other 5 axis m/c 'TNC430'. Only problem is the the axis on the new one are 'A' & 'C' as opposed to 'B' & 'C' on the older m/c. Any ideas as to how i can get my post to output 'A' insted of 'B' when moving the axis. I'm using Mastercam X. Thx Litnin
  7. Recieved ours last week. Hasn't been installed yet tho. N.Ireland

    Remachine

Thad, its not realy a lot of work, about 5 minutes in fact, and you 'will' be able to keep the tool down. A little extra time spent at the programming stage can lead to a lot of time, and money, saved at the machining stage....Thats my theory anyway. Well the option is always there if you want it. I've tried it and it works. Good luck. Litnin.

    Remachine

Thad, Set the tolerence to .01 in the advanced tab. This will pick up the missing corners. Then machine the L/H side and the center seperately. Now all you have to do is Transform (mirror) the toolpath from the L/H side to the R/H side. Not forgetting to reverse the toolpath of course. This is why we machine the L/H and center pockets seperately. If the Toolpath on the l/h side works then use it for the r/h side....makes sense to me anyway. Hope this works for u. Litnin. 10. . Nice one Bryan. I'll go with that...................Now where did I leave that A2 sheet and pen..... Litnin.
  11. Hi Guys, Was almost in tears reading thru all the posts . But on a serious note. I'm back at work tomorrow after the bank holiday. So i'll sit down at my CADDS station, go thru the moves, and try to put it into words as i'm doing it. AS BEST I CAN. Wouldn't it xxxx a few people of if I just didn't bother.... Thnx guys. Litnin.
  12. Thnx Guys, I'll give that one a go Cadcam. I'll let u know if it works. Bit of a pain this one, considering all of our other machines work in abs. Litnin.
  13. The Problem is, I do need to have the depth output incramentally. Thats what the control requires. quote: For example, if you want to drill a hole incremental -1.0, and the hole resides at absolute 5.0, the program will have a depth of absolute Z4.0. Is this what you don't want to see? I need it to read Z-1.0 Litnin
  14. Is it possible to output inc. z depths for drilling in a post processor. It gives the option to do this in the toolpath menu, but still outputs abs. values in the post. I've edited the post to my liking for just about every thing else but getting it to output inc. drill depths is proving a real pain. Its a hidenhien TNC430 iso control. thnx. Litnin.
  15. Hi Guys, Nice to see a few members who aren't so touchy. quote: I look forward to hearing ur views. I was really looking for some sort of constructive response, not the hostilities I received... To describe what I meant by cut to, past, on would be hard, u'd really need to see it to know what I mean. Any way, I think I'll leave this subject and concentrate on Support problems in future. Cheers Litnin
  16. Ok. point taken. I get the feeling that I should maybe shut up and Delete this post before I'm made to feel un-welcome here. And I guess I'll most likely neeed u guys before u need me. And believe me when I say 'THIS WAS NOT MY INTENSION'. Again. 'Sorry if i've upset anyone'.
  17. No No.. I think u've got me all wrong here, and maybe I should have said this in my original post, I think M/cam is a really good piece of kit. Especially considering its less than half the price of a "BASIC" CADDS5 package. In fact I would even go as far as to say that it does just about everything else a lot better. What i'm trying to get at is the fact that it can do all these difficult tasks so easily but it doesn't really support SINGLE CUT MOVES which can be very handy at times. I appoligise if I've upset anyone, It was not my intension. And i'm definately not here to 'DIS' M/cam because the more i get used to it the more i enjoy it's flexability.
  18. Hi all. I was just wondering if anyone else out there has a problem with mastercam's ability to make the tough things seem effortless and the simple things REALLY FRUSTRATING!!!...ie. the taking of simple random single cuts. We have only recently started using M/cam. we also use CADDS5 R12 and it has the ability to take single cuts easily..ie. CUT TO an Entity, CUT PAST an Entity, or CUT ON an Entity. Plus taking cuts with no reference to Entities, Solids or surfaces without having to create lines or points. Those of u who have used CADDS5 will know exactly what i'm talking about. I look forward to hearing ur views. Litnin. [ 05-03-2003, 08:44 PM: Message edited by: litnin ]
  19. Yeah. I've told him what i'm looking for, and he's going to have a look. But no doubt he'll come back with a solution and a price tag swinging from it. And as its the only thing I have left to complete in the post I (and my boss)am not prepared to pay a hefty price for something so small. Besides, I would really like to have a go at finishing it myself. Its almost become an obsession.
  20. I have all but completed a post processor for my 'DMC63v' Hidenhien TNC430 'iso' control. My one problem is the output. What i want to do is output a counter (Subroutine) instead of a subprogram. ie. XY CO-ORDINATES .. Z10 M8 Q1 = 10 ........."10 being my surface co-ordinate" G98 L1 ..........."label start" Q1 = Q1 - 2 ...."2 being my depth of cuts" G1 ZQ1 .........."Q1 is now 8" .. .. .. TOOL PATH .. .. G98 L0 ........"label finish" L1,4 ............"number of times to repeat the label (counter)" If anyone has any ideas I would be greatful if they could point me in the right direction.
