Limited in this machine to 2500rpm. I noticed that I really need closer to 4400. As for coolant, no thru the spindle. I am doing a full retract, but only to .05. I will try .25, and throw a short dwell between pecks to insure coolant in the hole. Worst case, I could offload the hole to one of the mills to get more rpm.
Thanks a bunch,

.125 dia x .7 Dp
Type 2 Titanium
CNC Lathe limited to 2500rpm
Been running the best with parabolic TiN coated, 10 parts before a pop.
Been pecking .1
Need to run 200 holes
How about a drill recommendation?
Using FSWizard for speed and feed but can't get up to rpm.

Oh,
He needed my .stl file that I created from his stock.
Site would not allow upload of the .stl file, although looks like Scottbro used the same technique but set-up a stock operation first.
I think Scottbro did a better job, as there is only a single file to manage.
Same result though...
Sorry about ver. 9 to the original poster.
Good luck,

------------Went back and changed my uploaded file to work without the .stl file.--------------
Been playing with your part. I like this toolpath
Problem, The difference between operation 3 and 4 is the cut depths entry.
Operation 3 clamps the maximum cut depth to -.9, and it works great.
Operation 4 should clamp maximum cut depth to -1., but it doesn't.
A little help from anyone?
Couldn't save in version 7, apologies to the original poster.

2d_Tool_Path_Problem.mcx-9
There are two tool paths here. The first is the one that I ran today. It is turned off now. It runs fine, but I would prefer my cut sequence to be different.
The second is what I really wanted to run. I like the tool not being surrounded, and it shouldn't have to be. Notice in this tool path, the two .12 external radii are violated during roughing. I am guessing maybe the 2D Blend isn't capable of this cut.
Thank you for looking,

I just installed this thing on my laptop. No USB open for a mouse, so trying to use it with the touchpad on the laptop.
I work on large aircraft parts. The point of origin can typically be hundreds of inches away from the part I am machining.
I typically set up WCS for each of the details I am to machine.
The rotational center is 0,0,0, I can't find a sequence where I click the part to define the rotational center. If I try Dynamic Rotation the touchpad behaves correctly.
Any ideas for me?
Thanks,
