  1. A "simple" tool list can be created by entering job set-up, tools, click tool number to sort, right click doc file, choose where to save it. This will open the editer for printing. HTH
  2. I used to program a Harrison lathe (manual/CNC), similar to what you are talking about. There really is no need to re-define anything to make the post/machine work properly. If you want to change anything to make it more visualy pleasing, you should be able to take care of that with your tool setup. HTH
  3. I got a dell Precision M60 about 4 mo. ago and its working great.
  4. I just tried a sample with the Fanuc post and it worked right. Try another post to see if you get the same results. If so, something is strange in your toolpath. If not, something else was changed in your post. HTH
  5. Thanks for the help guys. I will be workinhg on this later today or tomorrow.
  6. If you guys are talking "output operation comments to NCI", thats is on. ---------------------------------------- Heres what I want ........ O01000 (TEMP) (HAAS-MILL / 08-25-04) (G56 G57 G58 G59 WORK OFFSETS USED) Output all work offsets used at the beginning of the program. I can get the first one there, but no others.
  7. Thanks for the input James. Hopefully somebody knows if/how it can be done.
  8. Is there any way to keep track of what work coordinates are used in a program? I would to post this info at the beginning of the program. Modified fanuc post. Thanks for any help!!!!
  9. Me too please. I might need to start doing this soon, and I have never done it!!!!!!! Thanks.
  10. Ron, If your talking about job setup in defaults - the answer is yes. I works fine in Mill.
  11. I still have all of mine. Almost lost the end of one thumb in a press, but got lucky!!!!!!!
  12. I am trying to change from Peck Drill to Drill/Counterbore. I can change it, save it, pull it up again - and its back to peck drill. Any ideas on how I can change the drill cycle and make it stay.
  13. Several years ago my Dad and I had a shop. One Sunday afternoon he was polishing parts with scotch bright in the lathe. His hand was getting sore so he put a glove on. The next part grabbed the glove, pulled him into it a little and ripped the glove right off his hand. He was scrapped up clear to his elbow and broke his middle finger at the nuckle near his finger tip (a little crooked now). I was there no more than 10 minutes later, he was laying on the floor and about ready to pass out. To this day, that glove still hangs on the wall of our old shop as a reminder of what not to do!!!!!!! To say the least, he considers gimself extemely lucky that is wasnt any worse. Neadless to say, he learned his lesson.
  14. Might I suggest renaming your .cfg and trying one from a PC that posts correctly ???????????
  15. Heres what I got, it works fine for me!!!!!!! code: N4 G30 U0. W0. G54 G97 S680 M03 T404 (CENTER DRILL - .5 DIA.) M08 G00 X0. Z.25 G83 G99 R.1 Z-2.5 Q3000 F.012 G00 Z.1 M09 G30 U0. W0. T400 M01 May be something wrong with your post. Try another post and see if you get the same results. One thing I did change for the face contour - click on the rotary axis button . . . . . this shortens that code a bunch. HTH
  16. quote: ToolTracking.PDF Just printed it and will commence working on that very soon. Thanks for the input.
  17. I'm downloading it right now. I did about a 30 sec. blip of our oldest daughter riding her new bike. Added titles, transitions and background music. IMHO it turned out cool. Just wish I had more time to do it with the other tapes we have. Looking forward to seeing yours - 25 min. to go. That was far superior to what I did - Very nice!!! 18. Sorry for the confusion - and bad info. Do this.................. Place fmt N 4 nt #Sequence number for operation with the rest of your variable formats. Then change pblb, n, *t, "M6", ptoolcomment, e to nt = t pblb, *nt, *t, "M6", ptoolcomment, e Unfortunately there is no way to track how many times a tool is used and be able to post that. HTH
  19. Do you want the sequence number to match the tool number? quote: # -------------------------------------------------------------------------- # Toolchange / NC output Variable Formats # -------------------------------------------------------------------------- fmt T 4 toolno #Tool number nt = t pbld, *nt, *sg28ref, "U0.", [if y_axis_mch, "V0."], "W0.", e
  20. Yes it does stay on. But I dont want to have to do that every morning or everytime I start a session. Troy teh getting lazy!!!!!!
  21. Thanks James. Can I get it to work all the time, without doing the chook?
  22. How do I make the next operation use the default parameters rather than the parameters from a previous (same type) operation? I know there is a way, just cant figure it out!!!! Thanks
  23. quote: you will crash your first heli at least a million times +10000 I have a Raptor that has only been about two feet off the ground. Seems like everytime I fly it, I gotta repair it. I got the necessary parts to repair from the last crash, but never fixed it.
  24. I'm considering changing also (not a big problem at this time with IE). Do I remember someone saying that media player will not work with Mozilla? If not, what is available? Need to have all the bases covered before changing the home PC's and something doesnt work for the wife, kids and parents.
