  1. I get that all the time its just a glitch in the translation of the imported file. I usally rewrite the solid/surface and start over

  4. The shop foreman asked if I could add the max. cutting depth for tool paths. I couldn't find a way to include these in the setup sheets, so other then manually checking the depths and writing them down I can't any alternatives. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance

Good Morning Folks I have a question regarding reverse posting I have a program that went heywire on 2 cutter paths the verification looks fine so I need to reverse the post to find out if the problem is in the nc file. My question is how do I edit the post menu to add reverse to run the rp chook the directions in the c-hook are confusing thanks in advance for all your help
  7. there's a program called laplink thet will allow you to connect the two computers. I've used in in the past and it worked pretty well but it ain't cheep
  8. Wally good luck I gave it up 15 years ago and never looked back. ( I never forgot either ) All these guys have excellent Ideas. mine was restoring old cars. But you have to do what work for you. If you survived Viet Nam you can survive this. best of luck. life is great as long as you can live it sober !!!

  12. good morning gentlemen I tried to install the hasp update last night but It wouldn't cooperate it won't accept the "i" perameter. I couldn't find any error file in mcam9 or c drive. I think it's time to get the "IT" guys involved.
  13. iskander: I tried all types of different settings on my grafix card. I don't know what drivers are installed for my mother board or grafix. I had xp home on the computer originally but changed it to 2000 pro because of problems with advertisements loaded on the computer when I bought it. I reciently insalled xp pro after I caught a virus I havent upgraded any drivers only windows patches and upgrades (I am not a computer wiz as you can probibly tell)

  18. It was a fresh install I got a bug viras in my computer and had to reformat the drives
  19. changing the compatability mode did nothing
  20. I downloaded the hasp update program I'll try it as soon as I get home and you I am the admin on my computer. When I run the hasp update will it still run on win 2000 that's the OS on my system at work? I have to use the hasp on both computers
  21. I don't understand why mastercam would run on 2000 and not xp
  22. I don't know if this question has been asked or not. but has anyone had problems getting mastercam to run with xp professional? I loaded it , started to run it , when it got to the grafix screen mastercam just shut down. I'm using a compaq amd 2.4g with 612 ram and nvidia gforce grafix card. mastercam ran fine on this system under windows 2000 pro please help I've got a ton of work and need to take it hame to complete it so I need to get this resolved as quickly as possible thanks
  23. I set it from 150 to 100 and now it only retracts twice
