I know that you have talked alot about bmp files and so on (photos) and wanted to know if there is a "good"way to bring in a photo to mastercam for tracing , or a raster to vector converter that doesn't suck the bag. I want to bring in a very detailed picture not just a logo or something like that. I have tried alot of different raster to vector programs and most don't do a good job at all.

When I do drafting notes sometime in v9 sp1 and 9.1 they go all screwed up , its not the file but I think it maybe the OS or Video card ???? The notes get replaced by symbols and slashs and stuff like that ...any thoughts ? I'm using Win XP and a Geforce2 mx/mx400 card ???? Just want to know if its the card or OS???

Just wondering if anyone else seems to have this problem. I have just done a new install for windows 2000 prof. and I have noticed big improvements in toolpath calc. time, But
one thing I see that is ALOT slower is the select and deselect of entities. I mean when the entities are highlighed it takes along time to "grab" them ...Any thoughts ?
