I am having problems comparing my verify to a .stl file in MCX . When I save the .stl file it is in a different relationship (top) as my machined part (New View 9). I locate zero and program the part by creating a WCS that is relative to what I want to machine. MC 9 did not work like this. What am I doing wrong.

Thanks for all the help guys. I was able to get what I want with too many clicks. I thought there was an easy way I had not seen. I don't understand the WCS rotation of the part.It is OK from top to bottom, but from top to side makes little sense. You want to bank off the same back surface as you rotate the part. Thanks Again. Thanks C^M, but I can get to the right side but my xy axis is wrong and that's what I want to rotate. I've read some posts that say I can't do what I am trying to do. Mike

I would like to rotate the origin,from the WCS window,about the Z axis 90 degrees. Is there an easy way to do this? Thanks, Mike

Rekd, Thanks. Let's say MC is not frozen and is on it's merry way to a 2-3 hr. calculation I want to stop. Is there anyway to interupt the process without using the 'End Task' method and restarting MC?

Esc key gives me a white screen and the hourglass Ctrl-Alt-Delete gives me info that MC is not responding and I have 100% CPU for the non-responding MasterCam
