This is a long shot, but I have some old software running on the floor that will accept two lines and an arc that are "combined" using Rhino Cad, with a join command. When I look at the file that mastercam creates, i.e. open the iges file with a text editor, it is missing entity type 102, which is a composite curve. I've tried all types of splines, and I don't end up with that type of entity. Unfortunately, the software on the floor will only recognize the Rhino files (which weren't made by us). I'm not sure if Mastercam is capable of creating a "composite curve". Here is a Masercam iges file...The Rhino cad will have entity type 102.

The double if statement, basically, failed the test, and then output the results. I tested it, by forcing the output, and he was correct.
Sorry for the delay.....
Gail
The switch is still in the post (spaces$ : 0), but it doesn't seem to work. I need to adjust it to zero (which it is already set at), but the output isn't changing. Is there something I'm missing in the control def.? I have changed it to 2,3, etc. and it still doesn't change.
Gail
I was adjusting a post to get the desired output today, and I "accidentally" put in two if statements...example
if if xxxxxx, yyyyy versus
if xxxxx, yyyyy
The funny thing is, the double if gives me the correct output, and the single if, doesn't. That is really strange...Has anyone else done this?
Gail
You wont find optimize if you are using lathe. I have complained about this before...I use control comp all the time (because we can't maintain stock on inserts).
I went ahead and did simplify, and it converted 1 spline to an arc & 2 splines to lines, and then reported, "1 splines were converted"..When it actually converted 3 (1 to an arc, and 2 to lines). Any explanations?
When I backplot on one machine and step, I have a whole bunch of information on the bottom of the screen, i.e. spindle spees, feed, cocordinates, etc. On the other machine, I only get the coordinates. How do I turn this on and off?
