  1. I know the Alt-E Option has already been mentioned in this thread, and I am another huge fan of this option. I use it all of the time for various reasons, but one of my favorites is; I create a lot of curves from all edges from the solid models we work with. I do this for a few reasons, offset them for tool boundaries, run contours from them etc. Inevitably, I end up creating splines when I do this. I use Alt-E and ask to see "All Splines" from the menu options, then with the Splines shown on the screen, I use the "Break Many" option in the Trim options. I create Arcs using a tolerance. Usually around .002". This eliminates the splines that make my mill run like it has developed a sudden case of parkinsons, and makes editing the geometry much easier. I also have become extremely fond of the Transform Project option. I create a lot of Curves using the "Create Curve Slice" Tool. "Transform Project" makes it so easy to either Transform the geometry to an equal plane, and/or project geometry onto surfaces. These are probably considered beginners tasks, but I thought I'd throw them out there. I use these pretty much daily. There has been some great info posted by others in this thread. Thanks for taking the time and sharing. It's sometimes like winning the lottery to see someone else hit that one button or option You had no idea was even there, to make You life so much easier in the seat the next day. Steve
  2. Thanks, I figured out how to retrieve the File. I didn't know an .rar File could be unzipped. Steve
  3. Thanks all of you for looking at this part and all of your responses. I'm sure I'm going to make myself look fairly unintelligent with this next question, but Murlin, is this Mastercam File You have pictured in your post saved in a format in which we can open it up and look at how You have set up the new tool paths? I am new to the site, and am not aware of how these files are normally passed back and forth. If it is not saved in a format we can open it in, can You do so? I am very interested to see how You have set up these new tool paths. Thank You, Steve https://www.dropbox....TERCAM.rar?dl=0
