  1. Mick, you have helped me in the past for my Mill Reports and I would appreciate if you could help me with the Lathe Reports. I have the report complete, but the Active Reports for Lathe has three (3) types of tools: Turning, Drilling, and Custom. Unlike the Mill Report which just pulls in the next tool for the report, the Lathe Report requires identifying each of the three types for the report and this is giving me trouble. Do you have any tips to help me with this issue? Thank you.
  2. MasterCam for SolidWorks There are occasions when I need a more detailed screen capture for my setup sheets using Active Reports. For example, adding an additional view (Plan view and an Elevation view) so the operator can visualize the part as it sits in the vise. This may, at times, include some dimensions and a few notes. Before Active Reports I would create a drawing from the part and use Snipping Tool to cut and past into a Word or Excel document and I could be as detailed as needed. SolidWorks does not have Layers on the solid model side. Does anyone have some tips on how to accomplish this task? Thank you.
  3. Mr. George, Thank you again. I recommend you for a raise. Thank you!
  4. Husker, Thank you for replying; however, it did not work. Thank you.
  5. Mr. George, I need to clarify my post. I need the code to function if the tool is named 'FACE MILL' or 'SHEAR HOG'. My apologizes. Thank you.
  6. Mr. George, Thank you for helping me with the Conditional coding you provided to me. It is working very well. I have tried to add another condition to the code, but I have not been successful with my attempt at an 'if or' statement in C#. I tried to use the || 'or' statement, but it didn't work. We use a FACE MILL which is called SHEAR HOG. I can use the code which you provided above, and name the tool 'FACE MILL SHEAR HOG' and it works; however, I need it to work with the just the name 'SHEAR HOG' as the tool name. I would appreciate if you could help me with this issue. Thank you.
  7. Once again, thank you Mick. I will see if that function is usable. Regards, EMPIND
  8. Mr. George, Thank you for your response; however, I figured out half of the problem. Our shop uses MasterCam for SolidWorks 2017 and the Capture Icon is missing in that version. The Capture Icon is there when I loaded MasterCam 2017 stand-alone, which we do not often use. Will the Capture Icon be added to the SolidWorks version of MasterCam? Thank you, EMPIND
  9. Capture Icon missing: The Camera icon, which I have seen in other posts, in the lower left corner of the Setup Sheet popup is missing in my window. I would like to use the Capture feature; is there a setting I'm missing? Thanks!
  10. Thank you Ron; however, I am not able to purchase help due to budget constraints. I have my Active Report setup sheet close to the way I like it, but I just need to add some changes to clean it up. Thank you. I see some replys from Mick from CNC Software. Mick, are you able to help me with this issue? If you can give me some guidance on Conditional coding in the sub-report once Active Reports looks at each tool to alter the printing to the report?
  11. Task: When generating the Tools in my Active Report, I do not always want the Length of Cut, Length of Tool, etc..., printed with the tool. Example: Face Mill does not need Length of Cut printed in its respective row; however, an End Mill would need that information printed. I am sure this needs VB or C# coding to accomplish this conditional issue. If anyone can direct me to a thread which addresses this issue, or if someone has an example on how to accomplish this with a sample, it would be appreciated. Thank you!
