  1. Anybody using a good set up sheet they can pass on to me? I am trying to develop some structure in a very unorganized shop by first documenting tooling setups with tool lists, cutter discription, offsest lengths, fixture requirements, etc. If anyone has a good sheet format I would like to see it, thanks.
  2. Thanks guys, that did the trick.
  3. Thanks Bucket, I'll try that tomorrow and let ya know.
  4. My Haas post is outputting "a" axis and I am not using a 4th axis so the control allways alarms when it reads the "a". Is this a quick fix I can edit myself in the post?
  5. It seems funny to me that a guy with a name like "sausage" would be threatening to (smoke) people. any way, later BRATworst
  6. Greg, I would like more info. Please contact me at my e-mail address [email protected] Doug
  7. Glenn, thanks for the solution, the mceditor shift function allowed me to subtract 180 from all "A" axis values in a single step. That was exactly what I needed. [ 01-08-2002: Message edited by: dgocal ]
  8. Thanks Jay, I was hoping there might be a way to write a macro or something to do the arithmatic, but just wishfull thinking.
  9. Ron I had the same problem, it is very comon with MX version cards, drivers wont help. I swapted out the MX card with a geforce ddr and the problem went away.
  10. Got a question for anyone out there, I have a 5 axis problem, and that is after posting a program I found that the A axis, witch is the left and right rotation on the head needs to be 180 deg. opposite from it's current position to clear my fixture, due to the nature of the head shape. Is there any way to select a portion of the NC file and subtract 180 from all the A values in that given section? I currently use the PFE32 editor in Mcam but can't find a way to do this, is it even possible?? [ 01-08-2002: Message edited by: dgocal ]
  11. Thank you all for your suggestions and advise on this, it seems the best thing for me to do now is upgrade my video card, i'm going from the geforcemx2 to ddr, I was quoted $75.00 for the pugrade. Any problems with the geforceddr I should know about?
  12. I was thinking the same thing about directX and did load version 8.0, then uninstalled Mcam and reinstalled it and still have the cursor problem. Could there be some problem with Opengl? From there web site I found a driver utility prog. that I installed and it said Opengl had no driver for my video device but the shadeing seems fine. I don't get it.
  13. has this proven to be the qure for the prob. before, I just would like to know before I spend the $ for the upgrade.
  14. I have read the threads concerning this problem and have downloaded nvidea's latest driver 21.81 but still have the problem. I am runing athlon 1.0 gig with geforce 2 mx 200 video card on win 98se, any other suggestions??
  15. James I just read your notice about your new pc. I recently bought one with the amd 1 gig processor with the GeForce2 mx video card and found after loading Mastercam that my cross hairs are black, blending in with the background, have you ever heard of that problem befor and do you know how I can fix it??
