  1. Thanks John, Basically I am trying to do it for 4 axis machining. I want to create the toolpath then, roll it around it. Well I think I should have said that in the begining.
  2. Sorry John, It is not a single file. such types of file keep coming. Everytime I can't ask someone to do it. Just want to know the trick myself.
  3. Thanks, Jhon, Slahuddin and Iskander, I am reading your tricks. If anyone has any good tricks it will be a great help.
  4. No good news for me. BTW can you suggest name of any capable software.
  5. Hello, everyone. After a long time I guess. I got stucked in a sort of modeling problem. I have searched the forum but didn't come up with satisfying answers. All I need is to roll a flat surface around an axis by 360degree, or unroll a cylinderical surface to get a flat one. Similar to Xform--roll/unroll. But instead of wireframe I want to perform this operation on surfaces. Any help would be appreciated. Thanx.

Hello farooq, Did you face any problem while installing mastercam. I mean did it show some error or something.
  7. Cadist, I tried that. It worked fine. now I can open images in mastercam. But the problem I am facing now is the color of image changes when opened in mastercam. Also sometimes objects hide when background is image. Is that my display problem.
  8. Will try that. how you got that.
  9. Thanks keith, for your reply but streamline is also a big software. Won't it be nice to have the image directly in mastercam. Just as shown above. Is it possible.
  10. What's wintopo budgie? And cadist are you there? how you did it.
  11. How you did it. Is it possible or just a trick. teh waiting to know.
  12. Sorry cadist, but no need to get so much attach. It was just my request. I searched the forum for this topic and there have been so many request for this. So I thought may be some beta tester would like to give a little hint. quote: Even in current version you can get everything if spend a little time. any particular reason
  13. We are not willing for an addon. And the pc doesn't have autocad too. Wish they add it in "x"
  14. I wish if there was any... possiblity that jpg or any image formats could be taken into mastercam. BTW what you guys are doing when facing this.
  15. quote: Hope I was a little helpful to others also. Will try to continue. Must be joking. you helped me in my 70 to 80% doubts cadist. I still remember you each time before putting my pc to hibernation. Carry on

  18. It seem like my old lazzy thread is alive again it means I am not the only lazziest man using mastercam. Now is it possible to create certain entities be made or some layers are automatically given name in a new file using VB. VB champs.
  19. quote: also if you think you will be doing this alot for this customer I would contact your dealer for pricing. Do you do this for all the forum member from all over the world.
  20. Yes WTP, The system here is little different. The clients are "BIG PEOPLE". They won't learn it only.
  21. quote: THE BEST way to solve your problems - install your customer Mastercam demo I don't think the client is intelligent enough to do a dynamic zoom in mastercam. BTW thanx and medaq really nice first post. Starting with help to someone. nice website.
  22. Photo shop is too costly. I don't think boss will accept for that. thanx. Well any other method.
  23. Thanx WTP, But I am already using that resolution, I want to should be enlarage atleast 2 to 5 times than this resolution. So the customer can zoom at any small area of image.
  24. Hello, everyone. I was just thinking if it is possible to create a high resolution image of your model from within mastercam. So that the image itself can be zoomed for tiny details. Right now I am making 4 or 5 images of same part at different position of model, but it is very difficult and requires more explaination. thanx.
