Just want to tell you guys that I made the first try on the machine... and it works great I've done it with pocket with taper end mill .001 and I machined it with no1 center drill wich made quite a good job Gonna start doing production of this project to give to my customer!! Thanks again every one!!!

Thanks Phil for the advice I saw it when I generated them but forgot to x form them... BTW yeah it's on the side but growing to be the main job (finger cross) ...you speak french in Vancouver???

when I will do it with my 1/16 ball nose, will it do the job nice or it will exceed the limit of the letter. Btw phone number was posted on an another post and this part is to give to customer, it's key chain (not sure for the term in english) thanks all for the patient and for the time spent on this i'll check that tonight

Moi je suis sur le forum le jour et le soir rarement parce que au garage j'ai pas encore internet mais a la maison oui.(c'est du garage ou de la maison que je travail sur mastercam parce que le jour j'ai un autre emploi...)

I tried, but it's not working. if you check tonight or tomorrow you'll see. Just want to make sure you do like me: when you do create/letters you choose your police and everything then it the starting point and it create it. Does it create like pocket letter or just line cause me it's creating pocket but so small somewhere there is .0047 between the two line...

-I've choose contour -My cutter comp. is off -lead in/out, not check if I don't put the 2d chamfer, it don't want to go. I don't have the error message in front of me but at 5h30 I will be able to say what it say cause I'm not on the computer that has MC. I will post it tonight and BTW if I try to do engraving they ask me for access code so I suppose I don't have this option...

compensation is off I've put 2d chamfer with .005 width and .002 depth with 1/16 ball nose it's telling me cutter compensation not successfull...

are you able to do it with a 1/16 ball nose with contour if the letter are small cause my computer is telling me cutter comp has not been made even if tool comp. was off??? I really don't understand why...

Is there a way to machine text using contour or pocket or am I forced to use engraving cause I don't have this option...
