  1. we have fadals here and in the setp parameters you have a choice of m96/m97 default which rounds the corners. i don't know if haas has this but switching between one or the other may solve this. Another problem maybe a corner radius maybe smaller then your tool radius and your control is confused. either remove the corner in mastercam or try a smaller tool.

you can see if this is your problem by entering a smaller tool dia in your offset page and then graph it out (at the machine tool).

  2. Justin,

get rid of the original x2 and use ver 9 only if you have to. force yourself to learn the x2mr2 it is by far better, but since you're used to ver 9 it may seem difficult. You should take the training on x2mr2 just so you're familier with the machine def/ control def. good luck

  3. i know it's a parameter in the machine. we have an 18i control had the same problem but the tech changed it when the machine was installed and didn't tell me which parameter. look in your manual or call fanuc. sorry couldn't be of more help

  4. i save my mcx file as a stl file to use as my stock in the verify mode, but when i call out the stl file i receive a "LW has found the STL file not tob closed and water tight. An approximation will be used as stock." when i draw the surfaces they're trimmed to one another and so on but i still receive this. Any help on this would be great.

  5. which post processor i use. i modified the mpmaster post and it's been working fine in x2mr1

but since this update it'll just post out Ooooo.

i ran the chook update and it made no difference.

  6. just caught up on this, glad to hear you're doing well. amazing how your life can change in a split second. everytime i think of getting a bike i always seem to hear or witness an accident similar to this. goodluck and my prayers are with you AND your family!

  7. When ever I post a milled multi-surf surface my axis will have multi stepped moves instead of one complete move. Does mastercamm break the move up or is it a post issue? I've tried different posts and it made no difference.

i'll paste part of the program. thanks to all in advance.
