As far as the feedrate goes you may need to invoke G93 for inverse feedrate. I use to program 5 Axis Sundstrand Omni mills using Catia and G93 was a must when contouring with a Rotary and Linear axis at the same time. I guess because the linear axis is IPM and the Rotary is DPM. Hope this helps.

Still no good for me. Guess I'm shopping for a new card. Decreasing the acceleration only made the system perform poorly. I have 32 meg video memory on the ATI Radeon 7200 card with the latest Catalyst drivers in a 1.4ghz P4 with 512mb ram. Sounds like enough horse power ?

I have the same problem. I have an ATI Radeon 7200 series card. Just installed the latest drivers and still no change. I tried changing the refresh rate and it didn't make a differance. It's very anoying.

stl2surf worked well for me. I exported to iges afterward and imported to CADKEY 19 using IGES 1 Pass and was then able to heal the part into a dumb solid. From there I created the opsketch for our manufacturing plan that shows the part in it's true machined state at that particular operation. This iges is also usefull for the CMM inspection. I just started a new job and am trying to make a good impression on the GM. Before I started they were not utilizing MC's Verify function at all. They didn't even know what a STL file was. Thanks again for the sugestion to use stl2srf. I'm like a kid on Christmas morning right now.

Can I connect to the FTP site using FTP Software instead of IE ? I can't get thru our fire wall. Tried like crazy though. All I need is the site address and any other info that might pertain to my user info.

Where can I find stl2surf.dll ? I actualy need to create surfaces on the STL. Then I can heal it into a dumb solid. Then I can do antything I want with it. I can import the stl to Cad/Key but it crashes during any attempt to solidify it.

Is it posssible to export the STL files created with Verify so that they have surface definition ? I would like to incorperate them with my operation sketches. So far I've only been able to get the wire frame looking polygons. Thanks in advance !

I'd like to use the toolpaths/manual entry to insert M00 with a comment that say clear chips. How do I do this without getting ( and ) before and after the M00. Here is what the output looks like. 1st line (M00) next line (CLEAR CHIPS). Thanks in advance !
