    I agree with Keith, I have seen lowering the baud rate "fix" intermittent com. errors. On our FANUC controls to get the CNC to "pull" the program I set it to send in cimco (similar to your setting but with software flow control and the "wait for XOn" box checked in the tramit tab in the DNC set up).

    With the learning curve involved that I've seen expressed here (at least a 2 case of beer ordeal), it might be a better idead to keep 9 around until you get proficient with X (& they get the bugs ironed out). Just my 2 cents.

    All of our blanking machines are Hardinge w/ Fanuc controls. Because our bump is always the same, I just added the code for the bump to the "#Start of file for non-zero tool number, lathe" (lsof) section of the post. HTH

    Hey Rich Were running XP Pro SP2 & WinLine NT Plotter driver v. 7.014B1932. We bought this software to use in X & set it up per the supplied instructions. We were using MC interface in v 9 but the win line driver works just fine with our set up ow that its installed.

    We also use an old Cal Comp Pacesetter plotter & purchased the WinLine driver to plot from X. Then we found out about the scaling issues so for an exact plot we have to plot from 9, but the WinLine driver works fine in 9. It plots fine in 10, just not to scale.
