Hello all Mastercam Users

I would like ask u guys If
is possible in Mastercam to covert
STL file into something useble??

I mean surfaces curves or solid? Is there a option in mastercam to do it?
In enclosere u can find file - wchich is plate - saved in stl
I tried export that and import and would like get some data from it-
for future information and programming,
such as curves points, wireframe etc...
I found there is an option in user ap - "create boundary"
but that is giving boundary only on top.....

Is it possible to do it in Mastercam??

Only way I found is to use a chook called stl2surf in MCAM9.  I have used it and it works.

I don't think it is available for any version newer than V9.

Mastercam has no built in ability to convert STL to surfaces, but Verisurf (which operates on a Mastercam platform) does it easily.  There are other softwares out there that also will convert.
