Change arc direction on contour toolpath?

Not that I am aware of they always go in the direction of the cut going different than that would defeat the purpose of the tool. You can old school it like we use to many years ago and draw your own lead in and outs and make Mastercam go to the moon and back any way you want.

Actually no, it wouldn't defeat the purpose if you are starting on an open profile. The reason I want to do it is so that the cutter rolls into the contour, so that the chips go from thin to thick, to increase my tool life.

I used to draw hundreds of arcs for things like this before hsm was common place inside of cam systems. Sounds like I might have to get old school on this part :(

Okay that makes perfect sense the way you explained it. I was thinking something totally different.
