Subroutines with mpgen 5X posts

All the years I've been using Mastercam, I've never tried outputting subs with the mpgen 5X post.

Today I tried and could get it to work

Then I noticed a note in the header stating subs are not supported

but further down in the post I found this

 

sub_level$   : -2    #Enable automatic subprogram support (do not enable)

 

does this mean the post can do subs but requires edits to the bin??

Is there any way to get an mpgen 5X post to output subs .... without buying one from a pro ???

Not that I am aware of. Customer just had to pony up some $$$$$ for one to do some things I needed on a part.

The boss isn'the going to spring for a custom post

Maybe I can fake it with an mpmaster 4X post
