NVIDIA Quadro NVS

Anyone out there running a NVIDIA Quadro NVS.

 

I have an email from a customer who is experiencing problems with op manager disapearing. I am running a NVidia GeForce FxGo5200 in my notebook and have not had any problems.

Sorry...the oldest Quadro's we have are the Quadro4 XGL 700. The NVS is one generation previous to the Quadro4's. Believe it or not, the NVS cards are still available from Dell on some of their Precision workstations.

I've got a Quadro 2 Pro that does that... When you "expand all" the ops manager disappears... To the best of my knowledge I've got the most recent driver 10/06/03 Version: 5.2.1.6... I've just been living with it... Don't know much about Video cards / acceleration settings...

Does this happen on a Windows XP computer or another OS?

Mine is the same card and driver and no probs here.

It is XP Pro Sp1 on Dell, Quadro 2 Pro ,5216 driver version with acceleration all the way up.

Yeah that screwed up everything real good.

Nothing I tried worked right in MC.

Changed all back to my settings and theme and it is all good. Strange behavior.

Do any other dialogs disappear or is it just the Operations Manager's dialog?

The operations manager is where I see it ... If I "expand all" the ops go blank and it actually "locks up" the ops manager, I have to close it out and re-open it to refresh it...

Hi, I have a nvidia geforce4 ti 4200 on win xp and mc 9.1 sp2, I have menus dissappearing i notice happening most of the time when i go to tool libraries, I have to shut down mc and restart to get them back and some times I have to reboot to clear it. very annoying

just my 2cents:

on one of my boxes my card is geforce ti 4200 w/agp 8x the os is win nt.

my op manager will lock up when i expand all operations the only fix is to close op manager and then reopen and all is well.anoying but only 2 quick mouse clicks.

Yeah, thats exactly whats happening to me... I was just wondering If I had something tweaked here that would cause it... It never even really crossed my mind until I saw this thread...

I had problems with the OP manager in the past, Win2000 3dLabs Oxygen VX1 32mb (older card I know!). What I found to be the cause of it was a windows setting:

 

Right click on the desktop, under display properties, Effects tab, the "use transitino effects for menus and tooltips", by disabling this I elminiated any problems I had with the op manager. Specifically, when I collapsed all it would take a long time and sometimes shut down Mastercam. Now it works like a charm.
