5AX Sawrf with Cutter Comp - Heidenhain 640

Hi All,

I have been running some test on a new DMU50 with a TNC640 with 5AX swarf and cutter compensation, so far, I have not managed to get a result. I suspect either my format is incorrect, or I have not entered the tool radius values into the tool table in the correct spot. Has anybody managed to get this to work?

I have tried these different formats

They all seem to load and run but not actually offset the tool at all. Has anybody managed to get this to work?

You  would need vector output  , not XYZ AB output to be able to move the tool in the right direction away or into the material....

My bad ... you do have vector output on some of the lines. I'll have to try this on my machine.....
