May be your surface not everywhere getting out of solid frown.gif

If the surface is flat try to trim by plane as a workaround,

If no luck -build second solid from this surface (many ways to do )and make boolian remove .

You can always put your file on FTp and someone may help you .

kkominiarek,

I believe what Winnie is referring to is the ability in V9 to "stitch" surfaces into a solid. This works best with a closed surface model so you'd have to create multiple surfaces to close it. Otherwise you'd end up with a "sheet solid" instead of a closed solid body. Sheet solids are very similar to surfaces. I think uploading the file to the FTP would result in more specific help. If it's proprietary, you could contact your reseller, who would destroy any file after providing the proper support. HTH cheers.gif

And you can thicken sheet solids afterwards ,this is nice and rather mighty command.

But actually I mean different you take surfaces to use on second solid ,build sort of box wireframe ,built additional surfaces and convert them to solid .

A lot of ways to do it .

One more you make command Xform- translate with join option and you can build ruled surfaces ,lofted solid and more .

It depends from the basic geometry ,which way is simplest .

There are other ways too
