Changes to Mastercam I wish to see

Why is the "RAPID RETRACT" option disabled  by default?  I'm thinking this should be changed to an option of FEED RETRACT.  I need to check this box on every tool path on every program.  At the very least, please put it in the config settings for a default!  

 

Mastercam, please expand the holders menu to the right!  There is sooo much room there and I'm tired of expanding the menu with custom labeled holders!  

The 3rd and last wish (for now) would be that the coolant commands would be an option in the config.  Why do I need to change this every time if I use the same material and tools?

1 and 3 can be changed in the op defaults

I agree with expanding the holder page to the right.

1 and 3 I set them in the defaults to my liking.

The real question here is, WTF do I get 5,368h53m23.82s cycles times on a 5 minute part when rapid retract is checked but there is a zero in the feed box?

Did MC forget to check if the box is checked before they calculate the cycle times? Seems that would be one of the top conditions to check for before the algorithm starts the calculation. No?

I could provide a line or two of sample code on how to do this if CNC Software would like...

Camalot, do you know how to set Operation defaults in the control file?
as stated by Leon82 this will fix two out of 3.

I now have changed and saved my defaults.
