Hello all,

I have got after scan IGES sections in plane X

I convert its to Mcam and got a huge of small lines in appropriate tolerance.

Could you advise how to create points from end point of lines in two clicks, C-hook or VBS maybe?

Or convert this lines of each section to spline.

nO NEED ,Alex !

Toolpath -drill toolpath

Toolplane off

Cplane 3d

Select entities all lines

All depthes zero incremental and any tool .

Now select separate active level

Backplot save geometry to level you selected

delete all lines

delete >duplicate entities

Delete your fake drill toolpath and that`s all

Create>>Spline>>Curves

And Chain your lines.

No go because lines overlap each other

If I use c-hook findovlp and cleanup after appear gaps with different size

But as you mentioned screen>>endpoints

work perfect. thank you

Hey Ak762

If you have the points just use create an automatic spline by picking 1st point 2nd point and then Last.

Hope this works for you,

And hey winnie - I know what you mean but the backplot and save toolpath has it uses too so your method has been great for me many times. I remember trying to convince Brian Summers to make the change so that it only saved once then defulted back to "no save" other wise that could be another mess to clean up back in the Bootcamp training days.
