workpiece gouged using filter settings

i found out that the gouging happens when using filter settings if in my configurations settings,nc settings-number of decimal places for NCI is set too low eg.3 places,your workpiece will be scraped!has anyone experience such a thing?

What version of Mastercam are you running

and what version of MP.dll is in your chooks folder?? I beleive most of those issue have been

fixed in V9.1 SP2. I think mp.dll v9.17 addressed

some filtering issues as well. The current verison is 9.19 and is available on this website as a download.

You want your 'Nc settings-Number of decimal places for NCI' set to at least 6 or even 7 or 8.
