wow. what a shame.

 

+1 to mike. my wife tried to get me in the delivery room both times but i knew from past experiences in hospitals that i would end up being a patient right next to her (if i was lucky). nobody knows for sure, but chances are he didn't have any problems the first time and saw no reason for concern.

 

may god bless his family in this very trying time.
