endmills breaking, and feedrate

I just looked at your file and everthing is real conservative. I would go max rpm .06 dp with about .0015-.002 per tooth feed rate. If you change your feed plane closer .07 and your retract to a higher feed you'll gain alot of cycle time. I would use entry helix with a .07 z clearance. If you use kerosene or wd-40 you'll be safe. I would put it up on the ftp but i only have demo disk at home. Also constant overlap spiral might help because you can keep tool kline cutting. hth

Looked over your part .

I would take the z0 cut ,make cd drills .droll your holes ,close your holes with surfaces and make surface rough pockest with a big rougher like 16-20 mm .because you do not have water I would go s800 f150 depth of cut 1015 mm with kerosine ,after that would run surface rough ->remachining with roughers 12 mm and 6 mm

I would mill a part a bit deeper ,finish it with end mills and take off second side with alluminium softjaws ,which I would mill according to the part

All the data in metric

Apparently the Mill we have only has a max RPM of 5000rpm (I'll put a link to the specs on the machine at the bottom) which is what I was running yesturday. Everything was fine, except with using a squirt bottle, and the chips not clearing out as much as I'd like I had to keep using feed hold, and turn the spindle off to clear out the chips. If whoever it was that purchased the mill over 4 years ago would have bought the coolant pump for it, it might not be that big of an issue. I guess all I can do is try different things, although I'm leaning towards finding a coolant pump to use. It would have to be something that can just sit in a tray or something.

Again, Thanks for all the tricks and tips to use, being "new" to using CNC Machines it helps alot!
