DOUBLE CUTS

Hey Guys.

Can someone help me out with this.

Every time I transform tool paths to make multiple

parts, my original part is always cut twice.

How do I stop this. Mill-3 v9.1

Play with the check boxes on right side of Transfom Operations Parameters.

 

I have then unchecked normally.

I did now it finishes the first part complete.

(all tools)

Then finishes the balance of parts one tool at a time like it should.

You need to check copy source,and disable posting in slected source operations. On the right on your transform type and methods page.

It posted great but still shows it finishing first pc complete. Is this normal?

No its not, if that is not waht you want.

Send the file to the FTP and I will fix it.

Do the copy source operation and disable posting first then under group nci output check operation order. When you back plot if you have the source operations selected with the transform the back plot will show the first part being machined twice. But when you post the source operations will be ignored because the disable posting was selected.

Threept82, you file is correct.

If you notice the little ghost on your to previous op to the transform. These are set not top post.

But if you go in and make changes to them they will update the transform for you.

 

When backploting, do not check those as those will not post to your code.

 

So as stated by you it posted correct, as you did it right good job Ken.
