changing text in "tool parameters" dialog

I would like to customize the tool parameters dialog box. Is is possible to change the words "Progam #" to something different? I do not use a program number and would like to set this box up to output a 4th Axis rotation angle.

I have got the "Program #" string to output as a G0 A(Program # string) in the post. I just need to change the wording in the dialog box. I searched Mill9.TXT for "Program #" but found nothing.

Is this at all possible?

Thank You.

Correction: This only works if the rotation angle never changes in the program.

What I'm trying to do is this:

When I create a program that uses a rotation or "A" axis to rotate a part I do not use Tplane or Cplane. I just rotate the geometry and put it on another level. When I post the program I then must go in and manually change the "A0."s to the required degree. I would like to have a way to enter the "A" angle in the tool parameters dialog box for each tool and have it output in the POST right after the "comment".

Any info or comment would be appreciated.

Thanks

Randle

My suggestion would be to draw the part in 3D and use T/C Planes and allow the software to do it's job instead of having to think more than necessary but that's JMHO.

Randle,

I can probably change the wording for you, but you might be limited to the current number of characters in that box (or less) in order to make it look nice. Actually, Mayday could probably do it for you also (REF: Motty's "Setup Sheet" thread from last week.)

What would you like it to say?
