unisign?

anybody have any history working on a machining center called unisign univers.i would like any input.

Some of our tool suppliers have mentioned these machine tools and all have said that they are quite good.I myself have seen the demo cd video for these and am indeed quite impressed.

I used a Unisig gun drill once. It wasn't a bad machine...

When I worked at Fokker in the Netherlands.They had 3 or 4 Unisigns,from memory most of them uniports which they used for machining A380 skin panel sheets,which were then laid up and bonded with glass pre-preg.They also had a gantry type spar mill.

I was there for about a year and don't ever recall them being down for any reason. I think they may actually be a Dutch company.

You need to speek to Unisign they will send you the data It isnt really a demo cd but a video file of the machine in action on some aerospace components And this thing does shift metal!!
