Solidworks design

I need some help on a design called Fan Blade.zip in the mc9 folder. I was able to complete the part in mastercam but can not do it in solidworks. If anyone has the time to take a look at it in solidworks I would sure appreciate it. Both the Mc9 file and the sldprt file is in the zip file.

I d/l file but all I see is 2 parts with .sldprt

extension... tried rename both to .mc9...but no luck

Sorry about that I added Fan Blade1 to the mc9 folder.

I am trying to attach the round part to the blade with a good smooth transition you can see what I want in the mc9 file. I converted the mc9 file to solidworks but would like to know how to do it in solidworks. I will email the zipped file to you.

Is that .sldprt file by chance 2005??

I can't open it. 2004 only

Thanks JG it is just what I was looking for. I've only been using solidworks for a short while and still learning it.

Could you tell me why all of the wire frame geometry showin up as imported geometry?

I Imported the geo from M/C, I didn't have the original geo to work from. If I built it from "native" geo they would have been "consumed" into the various features.
