Well it depends on how call the number originally. If you use the tool paramet to do it then it is always a number greater than this normally defualted at an increment of 1. Soem post allow you to assign a subprogram number using a drilling cycle call and yet others will do this with a prompt or even a mr value if the post is set up accordinly. Tell us what you are trying to acheive and we can be of assistance.

Standard logic pulls the sub number generated from Mastercam (1,2,3,4,etc.) and adds 1000 if it's the 'sub' sub level in Mastercam.

Mpmaster added the sub number generated from Mastercam (1,2,3,4,etc.) and it to the program number, along with another 1000 if it's the 'sub' sub level in Mastercam.

You could override this behavior using a misc value, or even the program number field except for the first operation.

psub_call_trans, main_prg_no = ???

in psub_call_s, sub_prg_no = ???

Yes it is possible,

code:

psub_call_s     #Call to sub level

result = nwadrs(strp, sub_prg_no)

sub_prg_no = sub_prg_no + sav_progno + 1000 #Add sub number offset <<<<<<<<<<< line to change

if sav_progno = sub_prg_no, result = mprint(sprgnerror)

pbld, n, "M98", *sub_prg_no, e

You can use misc integers to set the subprogram number;

code:

      sub_prg_no = mi3

you can hard code it;

code:

      sub_prg_no = 1234

you can use conditions;

code:

      if tlplnno = 2 & (sav_mi2 = 11 | sav_mi2 = 12 | sav_mi2 = 13), sub_prg_no = macrocount + 3
