Vacation time

Well I go on vacation next week and thats nice, but I will be painting the house this year MaMa said so (HA HA) and it needs it.But how did you or how are you guys spending your time off this year.

I was supposed to have been off last week and this week, but had to cancel them to finish a project.

They were cancelled by my boss who was on holidays himself in spain.

So i am now looking forward to my holidays in september where i am going to the Belgium Grand Prix for a week.

I've got an extra week of vacation this year. That makes 4 weeks We'll not be doing much except working around the house putting in a new patio. 18 x 31. all brick.

If we go anywhere it will be to

"Backyard State Park" and our swim club.

Last month my son 11 and I whent to national BMX races in ILL,NY,and DEL.We scored some great trophies and visited my family in Mass.We fished and toured battle fields between races.The trip was 19 days long and I felt it just about the right lenght of time.

I just got back (Friday) from Vacation. I went to Bib Bear Lake in California. Very restful and relaxing. Got to play with the kids a lot, got to take naps, went boating a few times, bowling, etc...

I would suggest taking one at least 1 full week every two years if not every year to get away if you can afford to. Getting away seems to affect my attitude in a positive way too.

Just my thoughts.
