Strange move

I am facing a part off. Then I have the machine go home and stop so I can reseat the part in vise to hold flatness. Before the tool goes to Z home, it goes up to .100 above the part like it is supposed to. But then it goes to some weird place on the part( it looks like where the facing started), then it goes home. I guess it doesn't hurt anything but it scares the crap out of me at 1000 IPM. And it seems like a waste of time.????

Here is what it looks like

Setting exit dis. did not work. Our post has a stop with the same tool and a stop between tools. I am using the same tool so I was using the same tool stop. But you got me to thinking. I used a forced tool change and between tool stop and it worked. This fixed my problem this time but I need to try to find out why my post is doing this. Thanks for all your help Winnie.

Can you look at the .NCI file and pinpoint the move there. One thing I miss about working with Catia, APT, and Intercim G-POST. You could always look at the source code and find out what part of the operation was out putting the move and go directly to the parameter in the machining op and fix it.
